What Is Ayahuasca and Should I Drink It?

Ayahuasca is an hallucinogenic mixture made from the ayahuasca vine and other plants, most commonly the leaves from the chacruna plant.

Ayahuasca is Quechua for “vine of the soul,” or “vine of the dead.”

The brew contains DMT, a powerful psychedelic compound of the tryptamine family that acts on the pineal gland in the center of the brain.  The pineal is a small endocrine gland in the vertebrate brain that resembles a pine cone. The philosopher Descartes called the pineal gland the “principal seat of the soul.”

Ayahuasca is most commonly taken in the Upper Amazon. The most popular place for tourists is Iquitos, Peru.

Ayahuasca is known to treat and cure several types of diseases, addictions and psychological problems. It produces powerful visions which may contain demons, aliens, UFOs, spirits, and most commonly snakes and insects.

The mother of ayahuasca is an anaconda serpent, and the vine actually looks like two intertwined snakes.

I used to drink ayahuasca on my own and with ayahuasqueros (shaman who specialize in ayahuasca) in the jungles of Peru. I loved the stuff, and I wanted to dedicate my life to it.

So, should you drink it?

It does cure. It cured me of my ten-year smoking addiction, but I almost lost my soul in the process as these cures always come with a price.

I have taken ayahuasca several times. I’ve known many shaman and ayahuasca practitioners, and I studied ayahuasca for years. Much of what is said of ayahuasca is what the ayahuasqueros want you to believe.

What is seen while under the influence of ayahuasca, the dead people, aliens, plant spirits, snakes and insects, are demons.

Ayahuasqueros put their demons into ayahuasca practitioners, especially unsuspecting tourists. Most Peruvians won’t touch the stuff.

False memories are implanted, which is very easy to do when a person is under the powerful hallucinogenic effects of ayahuasca. A person will suddenly “remember” some traumatizing experience from his childhood past, for example.

Some demons are expelled from you in exchange for more powerful demons.

Psychological problems often occur. Usually several weeks or months after the person has taken ayahuasca. The entities you expose yourself to when drinking the brew are very smart and deceptive. Most of the time they will wait to attack you mentally, so you won’t associate your new problems with ayahuasca.

When new problems arise the former ayahuasca practitioner often finds himself wanting to drink the brew again, hoping that it will get rid of these new problems. Thus the cycle begins again.

Sometimes sexual assaults by the ayahuasquero occur. Especially to women under the psychedelic effects.

So should you drink ayahuasca? No! It is a huge demonic deception. For these reasons, and others, the Bible strongly warns us to stay away from these things.

Deuteronomy chapter 18, versus 10 and 11:

10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,

11 or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.

If you have a problem, or if you would like to experience true spirituality, turn to Christ. He’s been cleaning up the damage done to me by ayahuasca, San Pedro and other things.

In Matthew chapter 11 versus 28 through 30 Jesus says:

28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
